Dell machines carry a manufacturer's warranty. Dell offers several warranty options: the most common are Three-Year Limited (Year 1 Next Business Day On-Site Parts & Labor; Years 2 & 3 Parts) and Three Year Extended (3 Years NBD On-Site Parts & Labor). Warranty exclusions:

  • Disasters (flood, fire, electrical damage, etc.)
  • Monitors and Peripherals (printers, scanners, multifunction devices, cameras, monitors, etc. carry their own manufacturer warranties)
  • Software-related problems (either operating system or application), except in the case of physically defective OEM media
  • Service by an unauthorized service center
  • Non-factory installed components or upgrades
  • Abuse, misuse, or neglect
  • Removal, defacement, or alteration of the serial number or rating label
